ACTIVATING THE BCC ADDRESS BOX
Why should you use the Bcc: Address Box? By using the Bcc: to enter your multiple addresses for an email is excellent netiquette and provides security for the email addresses you are sending the message too.
ILLUSTRATION I
Arrow #1: You can enter a Bcc: Address Box between Cc: & the Subject; .
Arrow #2: Click on the "View Menu".
Arrow#3: Click on "All Headers"
ILLUSTRATION II
Arrow #4: The Bcc: Address Box is now active and multiple email addresses have been entered.
Arrow #5: Click on the "View Menu" again, and you will note that it now has a check to the left of it, indicating it is active.
ILLUSTRATION III
Arrow #6: Send the email to your self. Your email address is already revealed as you are the sender. Unless you somehow let your friends know ahead of time, do not put off the wall names in the To: Box. They will think it is a hijacked email address letter. And for darn sure, NEVER enter To: "Undisclosed Recipients". This is one of the favorites that SPAMMERS use. If you were to use this phrase and sent the email to me, my Spam Blocker would do its job by blocking and deleting the message. Many ISP's will not allow email messages with this phrase as their settings detect this phrase as Spam.
do hope that this help file has been of use to you. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to email me privately. I will do my best to help you further.
